Ian Aguilar, PhD | Director and Chief Technology Officer
Ian is accountable for leading and executing IT vision, strategy and capabilities across the organization, including data analytics and business intelligence, digital innovation, development, business applications and integration, infrastructure operations, cybersecurity and IT risk, and technical services and support. He provides oversight and overall direction to the technology function and business leaders on strategy, standards, and opportunities for technology services, innovation and economies of scale.
Prior to joining Campbell Global, Ian served as Vice President - IT Service Delivery for Old Mutual Asset Management. His responsibilities included leading the technology function for multiple boutique investment management firms and facilitating the deployment of the shared services from the center.
Ian holds a doctorate in business from George Fox University. His thesis focused on the stock impact of cybersecurity breaches in financial services relative to a sector composite benchmark. He received his M.B.A. and Masters in Management Information Systems from Boston University, and his B.A. in Economics, Mathematics, and Philosophy from Augustana College.
Guadalupe Folegatti | Manager, Business Development
Guadalupe is Manager, Business Development for Campbell Global. Her work for the business development team aids in client development and increasing the awareness of Campbell Global in the investment community.
Prior to joining Campbell Global, Guadalupe worked for almost ten years with Resource Management Service, where she held various positions in the Resource Planning team. In her most recent role as International Forest Planner, Guadalupe led acquisition investment analysis for South America and the modeling process for long-term planning of properties managed in Brazil. Her experience includes harvest scheduling, financial models, and appraisal review. Guadalupe is fluent in Portuguese.
Guadalupe received her M.S. in Forestry from Auburn University and her B.S. in Forestry from University of São Paulo, Brazil.
Bruce Glass, PhD | Senior Forest Economist
Bruce is the Senior Forest Economist and is responsible for economic and forestry research, and price forecasting. Bruce is the Chairman of the Price Forecast Committee.
Prior to joining Campbell Global, Bruce was a member of Weyerhaeuser's Market and Economics Research group, focusing on price forecasting and finished products research. Before that, Bruce served as Lead Economist for the Washington State Department of Natural Resources for eight years, and was a research scientist and economist at the New Zealand Forest Research Institute for sixteen years.
Bruce received his PhD in forest economics from Michigan State University and a B.S. in forestry from University of Canterbury, graduating with honors. He served as President for the Western Forest Economists Association in 2003 and is a member of the American Association of Agricultural Economics, National Association of Business Economists, New Zealand Institute of Forestry, and Society of American Foresters.
Denny Hill | Director of Timberland Valuation
Denny is the Director of Timberland Valuation for Campbell Global. He has led and participated in the analysis of each transaction considered by Campbell Global since he joined the firm. He has been responsible for detailed economic modeling and developed the acquisition model used by Campbell Global. Denny also leads the development of internal timberland valuations and appraisal of alternative management options. Denny serves on the Investment and Price Forecast Committees.
Prior to joining Campbell Global, Denny worked as a research assistant with CINTRAFOR where his responsibilities included developing and publishing market assessments related to international trade in forest products. He also worked on a timber supply assessment for the State of Washington.
Denny received his M.S. in forest economics from University of Washington and a B.S. in forest management with a minor in business economics from Northern Arizona University. He is a past Silviculture Committee member for Stand Management Cooperative and a member of Society of American Foresters and Western Forestry Association.
Steve Holland, CFA | Director of Treasury and Risk
Steve, CFA, is Director of Treasury and Risk for Campbell Global. He oversees performance reporting for the firm, provides financial and analytical support for acquisitions, develops statistical models, and evaluates financing alternatives. Steve also implements risk and insurance programs, and works on special projects.
Prior to joining Campbell Global, Steve worked for six years for a major forests products company where his responsibilities included statistical analysis and quality control reporting.
Steve holds a B.S. in Finance and Business Management from University of Oregon, and a Charter Financial Analyst Designation from AIMR. His is a member of the CFA Institute and National Council of Real Estate Investment Fiduciaries. He is the past President of the CFA Society of Portland, and former Chair of the NCREIF Timberland Index Committee.
Andy Hoyt, CFA | Director of Finance and Strategy
As Director of Finance and Strategy, Andy is responsible for financial structure optimization, tax strategy, financial modeling, and performance calculation. He also regularly contributes to research and special projects.
Andy began his career in public accounting with Deloitte & Touche LLP, performing financial statement audits of both publicly traded and private companies. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a CFAÃ‚Â® charterholder.
Andy holds a B.S. in Economics, Accountancy, and Business Administration from Oregon State University and an M.B.A. with concentrations in Analytic Finance and Economics from the University of Chicago's Booth School of Business. He is a board member of the CFA Society Portland and serves on the NCREIF Timberland Committee.
Jamie Killpack | Controller
Jamie is the Controller for many of the client-owned entities. He is responsible for financial accounting and reporting, internal accounting controls, and financial accounting systems. He also helps to oversee the external audit process and compliance reporting.
Prior to joining Campbell Global, Jamie worked in public accounting for three years, where his responsibilities included performing financial statement audits of private and public companies for KPMG.
Jamie received his M.S. in Accountancy from The University of North Carolina at Wilmington and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Steven King | Director of Global Business Strategy
As Director of Global Business Strategy, Steven develops and supports the firm's international initiatives. With more than a decade of international experience - including three years based in London and two in Australia - Steven has broad experience with large, complex timberland investments in the Americas, Africa, Europe and Asia Pacific. Steven serves on the Responsible Investment and Price Forecast Committees.
Prior to joining Campbell Global, Steven played a key role in the successful launch of Resource Management Service's first non-U.S. timberland fund, including acquisitions and portfolio management. Prior to that he held positions with Rayonier and two internationally recognized consulting firms, Jaakko Pöyry Consulting and James W. Sewall Company.
At James W. Sewall Company, Steven served as lead appraiser for international projects, including those in Australia, Brazil, Guatemala and Nicaragua. He also appraised investment-grade timberland properties across the U.S. South.
As a consultant for Jaakko Pöyry Consulting, Steven appraised large timberland properties across Australia and New Zealand and performed wood supply and market analyses in Tasmania, Western Australia and South Korea. He also conducted feasibilities studies for various processing facilities in Europe and Mozambique.
Steven received his M.S. in forest resources from the University of Georgia and a B.S. in forest resources and conservation from the University of Florida.
John Miller | Associate General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer
John serves as Associate General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at Campbell Global. In this role, John Chairs the Compliance Committee and supports the General Counsel in providing legal counsel to Campbell Global.
Prior to joining Campbell Global, John was an associate in the business and commercial law group at the law firm Dunn Carney Allen Higgins & Tongue LLP where his practice focused on transactions, mergers and acquisitions, securities, and corporate governance.
John holds a B.A. in Business Administration with an economics concentration from Gonzaga University, and a J.D. from Willamette University College of Law. He is a member of both the Oregon State Bar and the Multnomah Bar Association.
Matt Muller | Manager of Budget and Forecast
Matt is the Manager of Budget and Forecast for Campbell Global. He is responsible for budgeting, forecasting, and financial and operational reporting for all client properties. His duties concentrate on working with field office personnel to compile and analyze monthly forecasts and annual budgets.
Matt received his M.B.A and B.S. in Finance and Accounting from Oregon State University.
Mike Phelps | Director of Resource Planning
Mike is the Director of Resource Planning for Campbell Global. He provides overall direction and leadership for research, investment analysis, forest inventory systems, geographic information systems, and long-term planning and analysis associated with timberlands under management. Mike served in the Operations Group of Campbell Global where he was directly responsible for strategic land sales, project management, and supervision of Regional inventory and GIS teams.
Mike's diverse background of technical skills and operational experience provides a unique and broad understanding of the industry with well-established cross-functional relationships. Mike has held key positions in the development and implementation of forest inventory and GIS systems throughout the United States.
Mike holds a B.S. in Forest Management from Mississippi State University and is a member of the Mississippi Forestry Association.
Brian Prater | Director of U.S. Acquisitions
Brian is the Director of U.S. Acquisitions for Campbell Global. He is a forester by training and has a demonstrated ability to analyze and bring opportunities to successful resolution on behalf of the firm and our clients. Brian serves on the Price Forecast Committee.
Brian has worked for the firm since the early 1990's. Over the course of his career, Brian has consistently had a role assisting in acquisition due diligence, on opportunities of all sizes and forms, both in and outside the U.S. He has also led or played a major role in the start-up of field offices and active management of numerous tree farms as the firm has grown, including acting as the interim COO for Campbell Global's investment in Australia and leading the start-up of our management of Forest Service contracts in Arizona. Brian has worked in 15 US states as well as Australia, Canada, New Zealand and Russia. His experience, focus and professional approach continue to benefit the firm and our clients.
Brian holds a B.S. in forest products from Oregon State University and is also a member of the Society of American Foresters.
Matt Purdy | Portfolio Manager
Matt is a Portfolio Manager for Campbell. His responsibilities include portfolio management, client communications, budgeting and forecasting, investor relations, and preparing portfolio-level analysis and reporting.
Since joining Campbell, Matt has held various positions in both Operations and Resource Planning. His past experiences include managing forest inventories, conducting spatial analyses, and developing solutions that assist in operations, long-term planning, and acquisitions. Prior to joining Campbell, he worked as a contract timber cruiser in the Pacific Northwest.
Matt received his M.B.A from Oregon State University, his M.S. in Geography from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and his B.A. in Geography from the University of Florida.
Neil Radzins | Director of Accounting
Neil is Director of Accounting for Campbell Global. He is responsible for financial accounting and reporting, internal accounting controls, and financial accounting systems. He also oversees the external audit process and compliance reporting.
Prior to joining Campbell Global, Neil worked for five years in public accounting at PricewaterhouseCoopers (formerly Price Waterhouse), where his responsibilities included financial and operations auditing of private and public companies, including a forest products company.
Neil received his Post Baccalaureate Certificate in Accounting from Portland State University and is a Certified Public Accountant. He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and Oregon Society of CPAs.
Rhonda Stephens | Director of Human Resources
Rhonda is the Director of Human Resources for Campbell Global. Her responsibilities include all areas of Human Resources including workforce planning, employee engagement and development, performance management, strategic planning, organizational development, recruitment, compliance, compensation and benefits administration, and policy development.
Prior to joining Campbell Global, Rhonda was a Business Partner with Barrett Business Services ("BBSI") where she consulted with and advised client businesses in HR and organizational strategy and compliance. Prior to joining BBSI, Rhonda held the roles of HR Manager, HR Director and Chief Talent Officer at Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt.
Rhonda received her Comprehensive Human Resources Management and Organizational Development Certificate from Portland State University, and holds a Senior Professional in Human Resources ("SPHR") and SHRM Senior Certified Professional ("SHRM-SCP").
Kyle Stinchfield | General Counsel
Kyle serves as the General Counsel of Campbell Global. He is responsible for managing legal matters for Campbell Global, providing counsel on all legal matters to members of management and the Board of Directors, and acting as an advisor to outside counsel on legal issues involving Campbell Global. He is also a member of the Compliance, Responsible Investment, and Investment Committees.
Prior to joining Campbell Global, Kyle was a partner at Dunn Carney Allen Higgins & Tongue, LLP in Portland, Oregon where his practice focused on corporate and real estate transactions and federal income tax issues.
Kyle received his LL.M. in taxation from New York University, MBA from University of Oregon, a J.D. from University of Oregon and a B.A. in psychology from University of Puget Sound. He is a member of the Oregon State Bar and Washington State Bar.
Rob van Rossen | Director - Australasia
Rob is the Director - Australasia, leading the firm's portfolio management, sourcing, and evaluation of timberland investments in Australasia. Rob serves on the Responsible Investment Committee.
Rob is based in Ohope, New Zealand. With more than three decades of experience in the industry, he brings a deep understanding of timberland investments in Australia and New Zealand.Prior to joining Campbell Global, Rob owned and operated Rob van Rossen Consulting Ltd, serving clients inside and outside the forest products sector. His experience covers forest management and production, logistics, domestic and export log sales, R&D, sawmilling, medium density fiberboard manufacture, team leadership and change management.
Rob has held senior positions with some of Australasia's largest timberland companies. During his tenure with Rayonier New Zealand/Matariki Forests from 2010-2013, he was responsible for all sales and operations, and managed 130,000 hectares under management. As former General Manager of ArborGen Australasia, he oversaw operations for forest nurseries, seed orchards, science and lab facilities, and tree breeding and clonal production.
Rob received his degree in forestry science (Honors II) and a Post-Graduate Diploma in business administration from the University of Canterbury. He completed the advanced management program at the New Zealand Institute of Management. He served as Chair of the Forest Growers Interim R&D Committee in 2013 and was a member of Radiata Pine Manufacturers Association. He is a Registered Forestry Professional of the New Zealand Institute of Forestry, for which he served as a Council Member and Secretary.
Jenny West | Director of Business Development
Jenny is the Director of Business Development of Campbell Global. She is responsible for the development of innovative, tailored solutions to meet client needs. She also assists in developing and launching new products and firm-wide strategic initiatives. Jenny serves on the Responsible Investment Committee.
Prior to joining Campbell Global, Jenny was a Director for Probitas Funds Group where she spent seven years raising capital for alternative investment managers. Prior to joining Probitas, Jenny was the Director of Marketing for Standard Pacific Capital where she was responsible for raising assets for two long/short equity funds and two credit strategies. Jenny also worked for Welch Capital Partners in New York as the Director of Marketing and began her career at Morgan Stanley.
Jenny holds a B.A. in international affairs and economics from Lewis & Clark College.
Carrie Wheeler | Log Accounting Manager
Carrie is the Log Accounting Manager for Campbell Global and is responsible for development and oversight of our Log Management System and our log accounting team. Her duties include working closely with field office and corporate personnel to ensure that accurate, timely, and understandable harvest data is available to all users.
Prior to joining Campbell Global in 1996, Carrie worked in log accounting for four years.
Carrie holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from University of Portland.
Chris Wilson | Director of Portfolio Management
Chris is a Director of Portfolio Management for Campbell Global. His responsibilities include portfolio management, client communications, budgeting and forecasting, investor relations, and preparing portfolio-level analysis and reporting.
Prior to joining Campbell Global, Chris worked as a financial analyst and forecasting manager working with other production managers to obtain company financial goals while ensuring top quality customer service.
Chris holds a B.S. in Finance and Accounting from Oklahoma State University.
